UPLAC Bi-monthly Meeting: The UPLAC bi-monthly meeting and held on the date 08.03.2022, Mr. Md. I find the matter very sad, some members have had such problems, As Chairman, I would like to ask all the members who have spoken to the Commission from the Legal Aid Office to bring such clients to me. Two such clients came to me in the Union Parishad with the help of members. I tell them about government legal aid, how the government provides legal aid, and how to provide direct legal assistance to the legal aid service recipients. They later misunderstood themselves and expressed interest in getting legal services from the District Legal Aid Office through the Chairman.
Courtyard meeting: At the Courtyard meeting held on 06.03.2022, Ms. Parul (housewife) Kalakopa union under Nawabgang Upazila said that it takes a long time for a lawsuit to be settled in a court of law, in many cases, the date of the case is later, after the date and even after the attendance, the progress of the case is often delayed after the date of attendance. A lot of times you have to run to the court without work and also run after the lawyer. It is often seen that compromise is better between the two sides. Many are reluctant to go to the union council for arbitration, but many are reluctant to do so, If the Legal Aid Office sends a notice for arbitration, people are afraid to go to the District Legal Aid Office to get legal aid services.
